Nikki thinks art should be a reflection of life. She loves life, and her faith, family, friends and work have given her a rich backdrop in which to view beauty. She feels the real art is in the living, with her paintings being the visual celebration of that life. watercolorbynikkinne |
Nikki has identified as a Bahá i since 1978. Her greatest honor was to attend the "Opening of the Terraces Celebration" with one of her daughters, Clare Jamal O'Brien. As poorly qualified as Nikki felt to be selected as a delegate, the Opening of the Terraces will continue to be a major theme in her paintings for years to come.
